Led (2/4)

  • With their mouths the godless destroy their neighbors,
    but through knowledge the righteous escape.
  • His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
  • All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.
  • He sent out his word and healed them;
    he rescued them from the grave.
  • This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.
  • Then I acknowledged my sin to you
    and did not cover up my iniquity.
    I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.”
    And you forgave the guilt of my sin.
  • My mouth is filled with your praise,
    declaring your splendor all day long.
  • But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.
  • I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
  • For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love.
  • Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
  • Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God!
    How unsearchable his judgments,
    and his paths beyond tracing out!
  • Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
    for they will be filled.
  • We have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from your commands and laws.
  • Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.”
  • They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
  • These are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
  • There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called.
  • Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed;
    save me and I will be saved,
    for you are the one I praise.
  • And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
  • The heavens declare the glory of God;
    the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
    Day after day they pour forth speech;
    night after night they reveal knowledge.
  • Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
  • The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and his angels.
  • Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming.
  • If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.

“Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.
