- But when you do merciful deeds, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand does, so that your merciful deeds may be in secret, then your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
- But “he who boasts, let him boast in the Lord.” For it isn’t he who commends himself who is approved, but whom the Lord commends.
- Don’t withhold your tender mercies from me, Yahweh.
Let your loving kindness and your truth continually preserve me. - Isn’t this the fast that I have chosen:
to release the bonds of wickedness,
to undo the straps of the yoke,
to let the oppressed go free,
and that you break every yoke? - Make your face to shine on your servant.
Save me in your loving kindness. - But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
- Let’s hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering; for he who promised is faithful.
- He said to all, “If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”
- Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God.
- One man esteems one day as more important. Another esteems every day alike. Let each man be fully assured in his own mind.
- Cause me to hear your loving kindness in the morning,
for I trust in you.
Cause me to know the way in which I should walk,
for I lift up my soul to you. - Beloved, let’s love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
- Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.
- Pray like this:
‘Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy.
Let your Kingdom come.
Let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.’ - Therefore let’s also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let’s run with perseverance the race that is set before us.
- Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us.
Establish the work of our hands for us.
Yes, establish the work of our hands. - Let’s therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of disobedience.
- Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God.

Lead me in the land of uprightness. - Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
- Have this in your mind, which was also in Christ Jesus.
- But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints.
- He will not allow your foot to be moved.
He who keeps you will not slumber. - This is the day that Yahweh has made.
We will rejoice and be glad in it! - Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season if we don’t give up.
- Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need.
