Life after death (4/4)

Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. So let us do our best to enter that rest. But if we disobey God, as the people of Israel did, we will fall.
And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. And this is the way to have eternal life—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth.
For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.
But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. But you, Timothy, are a man of God; so run from all these evil things. Pursue righteousness and a godly life, along with faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.
Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.
And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. Then he said, “Beware! Guard against every kind of greed. Life is not measured by how much you own.”
How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. They told you that in the last times there would be scoffers whose purpose in life is to satisfy their ungodly desires. These people are the ones who are creating divisions among you. They follow their natural instincts because they do not have God’s Spirit in them.
I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.I lift my hands to you in prayer. I thirst for you as parched land thirsts for rain.
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.God blesses those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they will be satisfied.
Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.Don’t lie to each other, for you have stripped off your old sinful nature and all its wicked deeds. Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him.
Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters.
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.
Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit.
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? The Lord is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Martha?”
Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the day time, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life. But each day the Lord pours his unfailing love upon me, and through each night I sing his songs, praying to God who gives me life.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life.
But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. But from there you will search again for the Lord your God. And if you search for him with all your heart and soul, you will find him.
Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you! I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer.
He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction. Those who control their tongue will have a long life; opening your mouth can ruin everything.
