Chinese (traditional)- Better is a little with righteousness
than great revenues without right. - For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.
- For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
- Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
- For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
- For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
- In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
- And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him; Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?
- Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
- For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
- For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
- But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference.
- And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
- For whoso findeth me findeth life,
and shall obtain favour of the Lord. - I made haste, and delayed not
to keep thy commandments. - Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.
- By humility and the fear of the Lord
are riches, and honour, and life. - I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
- Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
- Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings;
and the years of thy life shall be many. - Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
- Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
- A wholesome tongue is a tree of life:
but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit. - The ransom of a man's life are his riches:
but the poor heareth not rebuke. - He that followeth after righteousness and mercy
findeth life, righteousness, and honour.
But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.Next verse! With image
