Chinese (traditional)- For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job, when he had prayed for his friends. And the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.
- The Lord is on my side; I will not fear.
What can man do to me? - It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to trust in man. - Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us,
even as we hope in you. - For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - Let us test and examine our ways,
and return to the Lord! - Seek the Lord and his strength;
seek his presence continually! - The Lord makes poor and makes rich;
he brings low and he exalts. - But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
- The heart of man plans his way,
but the Lord establishes his steps. - Salvation belongs to the Lord;
your blessing be on your people! Selah - The Lord is righteous in all his ways
and kind in all his works. - When I thought, “My foot slips,”
your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up. - But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”
- For whoever finds me finds life
and obtains favor from the Lord. - So you shall keep my commandments and do them: I am the Lord.
- For it is you who light my lamp;
the Lord my God lightens my darkness. - God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
- Seek the Lord while he may be found;
call upon him while he is near. - Commit your work to the Lord,
and your plans will be established. - Even before a word is on my tongue,
behold, O Lord, you know it altogether. - For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.
- I sought the Lord, and he answered me
and delivered me from all my fears.
And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
