Who but our God is a solid rock? - Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord,
for our hope is in you alone. - You light a lamp for me.
The Lord, my God, lights up my darkness. - The Lord is for me, so I will have no fear.
What can mere people do to me? - So we can say with confidence,
“The Lord is my helper,
so I will have no fear.
What can mere people do to me?” - For whoever finds me finds life
and receives favor from the Lord. - For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

he brings some down and lifts others up. - But the Lord said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
- I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me.
He freed me from all my fears. - Seek the Lord while you can find him.
Call on him now while he is near. - Instead, let us test and examine our ways.
Let us turn back to the Lord. - Instead, clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. And don’t let yourself think about ways to indulge your evil desires.
- Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.
- May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ.
- So be strong and courageous,
all you who put your hope in the Lord! - Fear the Lord and judge with integrity, for the Lord our God does not tolerate perverted justice, partiality, or the taking of bribes.
- This is the day the Lord has made.
We will rejoice and be glad in it.
