- You shall not make wrongful use of the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not acquit anyone who misuses his name.

For you repay to all
according to their work. - But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.

- For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, says the Lord God. Turn, then, and live.
- Happy is everyone who fears the Lord,
who walks in his ways. - Pursue peace with everyone, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.
- Our help is in the name of the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - And every tongue should confess
that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father. - So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.
- I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
and in his word I hope. - For thus says the Lord to the house of Israel:
Seek me and live. - May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ.
- Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- So we can say with confidence,
“The Lord is my helper;
I will not be afraid.
What can anyone do to me?” - For who is God except the Lord?
And who is a rock besides our God? - For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
