- For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
- As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
- For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
- The Lord is on my side; I will not fear:
what can man do unto me? - It is better to trust in the Lord
than to put confidence in man. - For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
- What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?
- Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
- A fool's wrath is presently known:
but a prudent man covereth shame. - I, even I, am he that comforteth you:
who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die,
and of the son of man which shall be made as grass. - Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord.
- A froward man soweth strife:
and a whisperer separateth chief friends. - For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
- Iron sharpeneth iron;
so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend. - For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.

And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
- So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
- O taste and see that the Lord is good:
blessed is the man that trusteth in him. - A fool uttereth all his mind:
but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards. - For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.
- But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
- God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
- Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
- A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth:
he will guide his affairs with discretion. - Before destruction the heart of man is haughty,
and before honour is humility.
