So if someone tells you, ‘Look, the Messiah is out in the desert,’ don’t bother to go and look. Or, ‘Look, he is hiding here,’ don’t believe it! Fearing people is a dangerous trap, but trusting the Lord means safety. Proverbs 29:25	The fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe. trust fear

The Lord is for me, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me? Psalm 118:6	Yahweh is on my side. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? fear protection
Loyalty makes a person attractive. It is better to be poor than dishonest. Proverbs 19:22	That which makes a man to be desired is his kindness. A poor man is better than a liar. reliability money goodness
How can a young person stay pure? By obeying your word. Psalm 119:9	How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word. holiness Word of God equipment
Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him! Psalm 34:8	Oh taste and see that Yahweh is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. God blessing rest
Don’t be fooled by what they say. For that day will not come until there is a great rebellion against God and the man of lawlessness is revealed—the one who brings destruction. He will exalt himself and defy everything that people call god and every object of worship. He will even sit in the temple of God, claiming that he himself is God. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4	Let no one deceive you in any way. Think about it: Just as a parent disciplines a child, the Lord your God disciplines you for your own good. Deuteronomy 8:5	You shall consider in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so Yahweh your God disciplines you. Father learning punishment

One Sabbath day as Jesus was walking through some grainfields, his disciples began breaking off heads of grain to eat. But the Pharisees said to Jesus, “Look, why are they breaking the law by harvesting grain on the Sabbath?” Jesus said to them, “Haven’t you ever read in the Scriptures what David did when he and his companions were hungry? He went into the house of God (during the days when Abiathar was high priest) and broke the law by eating the sacred loaves of bread that only the priests are allowed to eat. He also gave some to his companions.” Then Jesus said to them, “The Sabbath was made to meet the needs of people, and not people to meet the requirements of the Sabbath. Yes, he humbled you by letting you go hungry and then feeding you with manna, a food previously unknown to you and your ancestors. He did it to teach you that people do not live by bread alone; rather, we live by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord. And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul? Matthew 16:26	For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life? Or what will a man give in exchange for his life? materialism life soul
So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?” Hebrews 13:6	So that with good courage we say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?” trust fear protection
