Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.” | Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. |
Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ | Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. |
And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ | And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. |
But the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. | But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. |
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. | And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. |
So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. | Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. |
