- For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
- Sing to the Lord, for he has done wonderful things.
Make known his praise around the world. - I ask you again, does God give you the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you because you obey the law? Of course not! It is because you believe the message you heard about Christ.
- But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.
- Place me like a seal over your heart,
like a seal on your arm.
For love is as strong as death,
its jealousy as enduring as the grave.
Love flashes like fire,
the brightest kind of flame. - All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God.
- I thirst for God, the living God.
When can I go and stand before him? - But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
- We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love.
God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.
For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price.
