Chinese (traditional)- Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
- For who is God besides the Lord?
And who is the Rock except our God? - The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
- Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
- For no word from God will ever fail.
- For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus.
- In God, whose word I praise—
in God I trust and am not afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me? - But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord,
I wait for God my Savior;
my God will hear me. - Keep me safe, my God,
for in you I take refuge. - My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart
you, God, will not despise. - No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
- Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God. - Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”
- So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them. - And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
- Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.
- When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone.
- Our God is in heaven;
he does whatever pleases him. - But I have been the Lord your God
ever since you came out of Egypt.
You shall acknowledge no God but me,
no Savior except me. - Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.
- If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.
- No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.
- Surely God is my help;
the Lord is the one who sustains me. - These are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
Yes, my soul, find rest in God;
my hope comes from him.Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.Next verse!With image
