- Incline my heart to Your testimonies,
And not to covetousness. - I love the Lord, because He has heard
My voice and my supplications.
Because He has inclined His ear to me,
Therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live. - Therefore you shall keep My commandments, and perform them: I am the Lord.
- You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- If I say, “My foot slips,”
Your mercy, O Lord, will hold me up. - I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
- Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,
My lips shall praise You.
Thus I will bless You while I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name. - And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are one.
- I will extol You, my God, O King;
And I will bless Your name forever and ever. - If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.
- He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.
- Direct my steps by Your word,
And let no iniquity have dominion over me. - And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
- Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
- For I know that my Redeemer lives,
And He shall stand at last on the earth. - Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.
- So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. - Your word I have hidden in my heart,
That I might not sin against You. - Let my mouth be filled with Your praise
And with Your glory all the day. - My son, keep your father’s command,
And do not forsake the law of your mother. - I have made a covenant with my eyes;
Why then should I look upon a young woman? - By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.
- For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.
- But I will sing of Your power;
Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning;
For You have been my defense
And refuge in the day of my trouble. - For there is not a word on my tongue,
But behold, O Lord, You know it altogether.
