My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water. You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water.

But go find my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
I lift my hands to you in prayer. I thirst for you as parched land thirsts for rain.I spread out my hands to you; I thirst for you like a parched land.
