Above all, you must realize that no prophecy in Scripture ever came from the prophet’s own understanding, or from human initiative. So, what about eating meat that has been offered to idols? Well, we all know that an idol is not really a god and that there is only one God. 1 Corinthians 8:4	Therefore concerning the eating of things sacrificed to idols, we know that no idol is anything in the world, and that there is no other God but one. idols food

God chose things despised by the world, things counted as nothing at all, and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important. As a result, no one can ever boast in the presence of God.

God chose the lowly things of the world, and the things that are despised, and the things that don’t exist, that he might bring to nothing the things that exist, that no flesh should boast before God.
