What then? Should we sin because we are not under the Law but under grace? Of course not! Romans 6:15	Well then, since God’s grace has set us free from the law, does that mean we can go on sinning? Of course not! sin grace law
“All things are lawful,” you may say—but not all things are beneficial. All things may be lawful—but not all things are constructive. 1 Corinthians 10:23	You say, “I am allowed to do anything”—but not everything is good for you. You say, “I am allowed to do anything”—but not everything is beneficial. law goodness righteousness
Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill them. Matthew 5:17	Don’t misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose. law Jesus prophecy

Go and learn what this text means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ I have come to call not the righteous but sinners. You want something that you cannot have, so you commit murder. And you covet something but cannot obtain it, so you engage in quarrels and fights. You do not have because you do not ask. James 4:2	You want what you don’t have, so you scheme and kill to get it. You are jealous of what others have, but you can’t get it, so you fight and wage war to take it away from them. You might say to yourself, “How can we know that the Lord did not speak the message?” If what the prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord is not true and it does not happen, then the message was not proclaimed by the Lord. The prophet has spoken presumptuously, you should not fear him. Deuteronomy 18:21-22	But you may wonder, ‘How will we know whether or not a prophecy is from the Lord?’ If the prophet speaks in the Lord’s name but his prediction does not happen or come true, you will know that the Lord did not give that message. Let us never grow weary in doing what is right, for if we do not give up, we will reap our harvest in due time. Galatians 6:9	So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. righteousness reward patience

As long as the goodwill is present, the gift will be acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have. 2 Corinthians 8:12	Whatever you give is acceptable if you give it eagerly. Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the eternal God, the Creator of the earth’s farthest boundaries. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding cannot be scrutinized. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; nor will the waters engulf you. When you walk through fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not consume you. With the Lord to protect me I am not afraid. What can mortals do to me? Psalm 118:6	The Lord is for me, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me? fear protection
Bless those who persecute you; bless them and do not curse them. Romans 12:14	Bless those who persecute you. Don’t curse them; pray that God will bless them. blessing persecution
Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? And yet not one of them is forgotten in God’s sight. Even the hairs on your head have all been counted. Do not be afraid. You are worth far more than any number of sparrows. Luke 12:6-7	What is the price of five sparrows—two copper coins? Yet God does not forget a single one of them.
