Chinese (traditional)- Teach me thy way, O Lord;
I will walk in thy truth:
unite my heart to fear thy name. - In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust;
let me never be ashamed:
deliver me in thy righteousness. - In God is my salvation and my glory:
the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. - Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.
- In God I will praise his word,
in God I have put my trust;
I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. - Therefore I will look unto the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation:
my God will hear me. - If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
- For thou wilt light my candle:
the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. - Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.
- Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses;
for they have been ever of old.
Remember not the sins of my youth,
nor my transgressions:
according to thy mercy remember thou me
for thy goodness' sake, O Lord. - No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
- Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us,
but unto thy name give glory,
for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake. - Hear my prayer, O Lord,
give ear to my supplications:
in thy faithfulness answer me,
and in thy righteousness. - But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.
- Blessed are the pure in heart:
for they shall see God. - And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
- So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
- I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people:
and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. - And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
- So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
- Let the words of my mouth,
and the meditation of my heart,
be acceptable in thy sight,
O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. - Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.
- Yet I am the Lord thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.
- My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord;
in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. - Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
