Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Obtain'
- For whoso findeth me findeth life,
and shall obtain favour of the Lord. - Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
- Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
- Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
- A man's pride shall bring him low:
but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit. - Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing,
and obtaineth favour of the Lord. - He that covereth his sins shall not prosper:
but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. - But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
- Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.
- Learn to do well; seek judgment,
relieve the oppressed,
judge the fatherless,
plead for the widow. - Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.
- Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come: That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.
- Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
- Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished:
but he that gathereth by labour shall increase. - Happy is the man that findeth wisdom,
and the man that getteth understanding. - Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
- Treasures of wickedness profit nothing:
but righteousness delivereth from death. - And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.Next verse! With image
