- For if the eagerness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has—not according to what one does not have.

but one who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy. - No one after lighting a lamp hides it under a jar, or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a lampstand, so that those who enter may see the light.
- Finally, brothers and sisters, farewell. Put things in order, listen to my appeal, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.

- The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do this.
- “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” For it is not those who commend themselves that are approved, but those whom the Lord commends.
