  • See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
  • Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come: That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.
  • Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.
  • This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
  • For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established; That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
  • Whom have I in heaven but thee?
and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.
  • Yet I am the Lord thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.
  • Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
  • Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
  • And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
  • When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
  • And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.
  • Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.
  • Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another.
  • Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus.
  • To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
  • And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth.
  • We love him, because he first loved us.
  • For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
  • The heart is deceitful above all things,
and desperately wicked: who can know it?
I the Lord search the heart,
    I try the reins,
even to give every man according to his ways,
and according to the fruit of his doings.
  • A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
  • Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.
  • And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you.
  • Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother: And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.
  • Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous.

Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.
