- When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed.

I will pay that that I have vowed.
Salvation is of the Lord. - The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again:
but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth. - Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.
- Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
- My son, attend to my words;
incline thine ear unto my sayings.
Let them not depart from thine eyes;
keep them in the midst of thine heart. - A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself;
but the simple pass on, and are punished. - Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets have cried, saying, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Turn ye now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings: but they did not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith the Lord.
- Who will render to every man according to his deeds.
- The ransom of a man's life are his riches:
but the poor heareth not rebuke. - Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord.
Lord, hear my voice:
let thine ears be attentive
to the voice of my supplications. - And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
- Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
- See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
- If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.

- Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.
- He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good:
and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he. - Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory. Selah. If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.Next verse!With image
