Is anyone among you sick? He should send for the presbyters of the Church so that they may pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. The prayer of faith will save the sick person, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed any sins, he will be forgiven.Is anyone among you sick? When anyone turns a deaf ear to the law, even his prayer is detestable.If anyone turns a deaf ear to my instruction, even their prayers are detestable.
For God will repay everyone in accordance with what his deeds deserve.God “will repay each person according to what they have done.”
Then I came to realize that all toil and skill in work derive from one person’s envy of another. This also is vanity and a chase after the wind.And I saw that all toil and all achievement spring from one person’s envy of another. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.
If anyone is rich in worldly possessions and sees a brother in need but refuses to open his heart, how can the love of God abide in him?If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?

The Lord then said, “Very well. All that he has is in your power. However, you may not lay a hand upon him.” So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in your power, but on the man himself do not lay a finger.” Then Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.
