- Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.
- Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand.
- Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
- Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
- What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

- I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need.
- I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
- And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
- To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
- The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
- And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
- For I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance.
- For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
- I am hard pressed between the two. My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better. But to remain in the flesh is more necessary on your account.

- Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.
- Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus.

And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.
- Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.
- And every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
- Do all things without grumbling or disputing, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast to the word of life.
- That I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death.
- I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
- But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
