And your Father who sees everything that is done in secret will reward you. |
| I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. | I will place my rainbow in the clouds and it will be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth. |
| But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. | After you have suffered for a brief period, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and support you. |
| Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. | With our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.
