| Hence, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. | For he guards the paths of justice and keeps watch over the way of his faithful ones. | He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints. |
| However, you, dear friends, must build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in the love of God as you await our Lord Jesus Christ in his mercy, who will grant you eternal life. | But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. |
| I am confident that I will behold the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. | I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. |
| Make every possible effort to preserve the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. | Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. |
