- Hence, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.
- Let those who love the Lord hate evil,
for he protects the souls of his faithful ones
and rescues them from the hand of the wicked. - Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, so that at the proper time he may exalt you.
- Guide my steps in accord with your word
and never let evil triumph over me. - Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts:
he is the King of glory. Selah - For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.
- A husband should give to his wife her conjugal rights, and likewise a wife should fulfill her conjugal obligations to her husband. For a wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise, a husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.
- However, now that you have been freed from sin and bound to the service of God, the benefit you receive is sanctification, and the end is eternal life.

- The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. - Those who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.
- By his own choice he gave us birth through the way of truth so that we may be a kind of firstfruits of all his creation.
- There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save or to destroy. Who then are you to pass judgment on a neighbor?
- I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation to know him.
- The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
- But according to Scripture all things have been confined under sin, so that through faith in Jesus Christ what was promised might be given to those who believe.
- The tongue of the just man is like pure silver;
the heart of the wicked is without worth. - I love you, O Lord, my strength,
O Lord, my rock, my fortress, my deliverer.
My God is my rock in whom I take refuge,
my shield and the horn of my salvation,
my stronghold. - The birth of Jesus Christ occurred in this way. When his mother Mary was engaged to Joseph, but before they came to live together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit.
- For he guards the paths of justice
and keeps watch over the way of his faithful ones. - However, you, dear friends, must build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in the love of God as you await our Lord Jesus Christ in his mercy, who will grant you eternal life.
- I am confident that I will behold the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living. - Make every possible effort to preserve the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
