Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving.Continue steadfastly in prayer, watching in it with thanksgiving.

For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Hear my prayer, O Lord, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.Hear my prayer, Yahweh. Listen to my petitions. In your faithfulness and righteousness, relieve me.

My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.Yahweh, in the morning you will hear my voice. In the morning I will lay my requests before you, and will watch expectantly.
