- Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

- Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise:
and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding. - For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.

and a sojourner, as all my fathers were. - Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
- But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
- Blessed are the peacemakers:
for they shall be called the children of God. - Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory. Selah. - And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
