- Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.

unto his servants the prophets. - Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
- Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
- To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
- For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

- Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
- Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
- When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
- And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the Lord hath not spoken? - Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone.
- But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference.
- Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
- Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come: That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.
And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us.Next verse!With image
