Hear my prayer, O LORD; listen to my plea! Answer me because… Psalm 143:1

Hear my prayer, O Lord;
listen to my plea!
Answer me because you are faithful and righteous.

I lift my hands to you in prayer.
I thirst for you as parched land thirsts for rain.
Psalm 143:6 worship receiving dependence

Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning,
for I am trusting you.
Show me where to walk,
for I give myself to you.
Psalm 143:8 trust love planning
Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God.
May your gracious Spirit lead me forward
on a firm footing.
Psalm 143:10 learning Spirit obedience
I will exalt you, my God and King,
and praise your name forever and ever.
Psalm 145:1 worship eternal life praise
Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise!
No one can measure his greatness.
Psalm 145:3 worship understanding almighty
The Lord is righteous in everything he does;
he is filled with kindness.
Psalm 145:17 reliability righteousness goodness
The Lord is close to all who call on him,
yes, to all who call on him in truth.
Psalm 145:18 trust reliability prayer
The Lord opens the eyes of the blind.
The Lord lifts up those who are weighed down.
The Lord loves the godly.
Psalm 146:8 sickness healing righteousness
The Lord protects the foreigners among us.
He cares for the orphans and widows,
but he frustrates the plans of the wicked.
Psalm 146:9 protection orphans widows
He heals the brokenhearted
and bandages their wounds.
Psalm 147:3 healing heart sickness
For the Lord delights in his people;
he crowns the humble with victory.
Psalm 149:4 humility joy blessing
Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord!
Praise the Lord!
Psalm 150:6 worship praise
Oh, the joys of those who do not
follow the advice of the wicked,
or stand around with sinners,
or join in with mockers.
Psalm 1:1 sin righteousness blessing
But you, O Lord, are a shield around me;
you are my glory, the one who holds my head high.
Psalm 3:3 dependence overcoming protection
Victory comes from you, O Lord.
May you bless your people.
Psalm 3:8 salvation blessing dependence
In peace I will lie down and sleep,
for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe.
Psalm 4:8 safety rest peace
Listen to my voice in the morning, Lord.
Each morning I bring my requests to you and wait expectantly.
Psalm 5:3 prayer patience listening
For you bless the godly, O Lord;
you surround them with your shield of love.
Psalm 5:12 blessing protection righteousness
What are mere mortals that you should think about them,
human beings that you should care for them?
Psalm 8:4 blessing humility grace
I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart;
I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done.
Psalm 9:1 worship gratitude miracles
I will be filled with joy because of you.
I will sing praises to your name, O Most High.

The Lord is a shelter for the oppressed,
a refuge in times of trouble.

Those who know your name trust in you,
for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you.
Psalm 9:10 trust seeking reliability
Arise, O Lord!
Punish the wicked, O God!
Do not ignore the helpless!
