- The name of the Lord is a strong tower;
The righteous runs into it and is safe. - The fear of man brings a snare,
But one who trusts in the Lord will be protected. - In peace I will both lie down and sleep,
For You alone, Lord, have me dwell in safety. - Protect me, God, for I take refuge in You.
- Trust in the Lord and do good;
Live in the land and cultivate faithfulness. - You, Lord, will not withhold Your compassion from me;
Your mercy and Your truth will continually watch over me. - The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed, and will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom; to Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
- Watch the path of your feet,
And all your ways will be established. - For the Lord loves justice
And does not abandon His godly ones;
They are protected forever,
But the descendants of the wicked will be eliminated. - Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed quickly, therefore the hearts of the sons of mankind among them are fully given to do evil.
- I am not asking You to take them out of the world, but to keep them away from the evil one.
- So we fasted and sought our God concerning this matter, and He listened to our pleading.
- One who walks in integrity walks securely,
But one who perverts his ways will be found out. - But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking forward to the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.
- A rich person’s wealth is his strong city,
And like a high wall in his own imagination. - As for God, His way is blameless;
The word of the Lord is refined;
He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him. - But as for me, I will sing of Your strength;
Yes, I will joyfully sing of Your faithfulness in the morning,
For You have been my refuge
And a place of refuge on the day of my distress. - “I love You, Lord, my strength.”
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my savior,
My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. - One who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
Will lodge in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress,
My God, in whom I trust!”
A prudent person sees evil and hides himself;
But the naive proceed, and pay the penalty. They said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”Next verse!With image
