Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'She Is'
- An excellent wife who can find?
She is far more precious than jewels. - By faith Sarah herself received power to conceive, even when she was past the age, since she considered him faithful who had promised.
- But Jesus on hearing this answered him, “Do not fear; only believe, and she will be well.”
- She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.
- And the rib that the Lord God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man. Then the man said, “This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.” Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
- And while they were there, the time came for her to give birth. And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.
- Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit.
- However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
- Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain,
but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. - Can a woman forget her nursing child,
that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb?
Even these may forget,
yet I will not forget you.
Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;
your walls are continually before me. - Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered.
- Now he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. And behold, there was a woman who had had a disabling spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not fully straighten herself. When Jesus saw her, he called her over and said to her, “Woman, you are freed from your disability.” And he laid his hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and she glorified God. But the ruler of the synagogue, indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, said to the people, “There are six days in which work ought to be done. Come on those days and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day.” Then the Lord answered him, “You hypocrites! Does not each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or his donkey from the manger and lead it away to water it? And ought not this woman, a daughter of Abraham whom Satan bound for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?” As he said these things, all his adversaries were put to shame, and all the people rejoiced at all the glorious things that were done by him.
- Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
- That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
- Blessed is the one
whose transgression is forgiven,
whose sin is covered. - Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
- For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
- For the Lord is our judge;
the Lord is our lawgiver;
the Lord is our king;
he will save us. - There is none holy like the Lord:
for there is none besides you;
there is no rock like our God. - For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - Behold, God is my helper;
the Lord is the upholder of my life. - For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - What is desired in a man is steadfast love,
and a poor man is better than a liar. - The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
- Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good.
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory! SelahLet us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.Next verse!With image
