The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. The Lord does not delay in keeping his promise, as some think in terms of delay, but he is patient with you. It is not his wish that any should perish but rather that all should be brought to repentance.
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.I will instruct you and guide you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and keep my eyes upon you.
You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.You did not choose me. Rather, I chose you. And I appointed you to go out and bear fruit, fruit that will remain, so that the Father may give you whatever you ask him in my name.
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. And every tongue should proclaim to the glory of God the Father: Jesus Christ is Lord.

But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.Rather, I discipline my body and bring it under control, for fear that after preaching to others I myself may be disqualified.
To him who is afflicted, kindness should be shown by his friend, Even though he forsakes the fear of the Almighty. One who despairs should have the support of his friends even if he has forsaken the fear of the Almighty.
But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.”Yet even if you should suffer for doing what is right, you are thereby blessed. Have no fear of others, and refuse to be intimidated by them.
For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps. This, in fact, is what you have been called to do, because Christ himself suffered for you and left an example for you to follow in his footsteps.
Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, For in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, For I lift up my soul to You.At dawn let me experience your kindness, for in you I place my trust. Show me the path I must walk, for to you I lift up my soul.
And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”And the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I wish to make another creature who will be like him.”
But who am I, and who are my people, That we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things come from You, And of Your own we have given You.But who am I, and what are your people, that we should be able to do this? All things belong to you, and everything that we have given you is from your hand.
