Should (4/4)

  • Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
  • In God, I praise his word.
In God, I put my trust.
    I will not be afraid.
What can flesh do to me?
  • Let all that you do be done in love.
  • So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.
  • I heard the Lord’s voice, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?”
Then I said, “Here I am. Send me!”
  • Having therefore obtained the help that is from God, I stand to this day testifying both to small and great, saying nothing but what the prophets and Moses said would happen, how the Christ must suffer, and how, by the resurrection of the dead, he would be first to proclaim light both to these people and to the Gentiles.
  • Because it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in him, but also to suffer on his behalf.
  • Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.
  • What shall we say then? Is the law sin? May it never be! However, I wouldn’t have known sin except through the law. For I wouldn’t have known coveting unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”
  • Beloved, if God loved us in this way, we also ought to love one another.
  • As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to save many people alive, as is happening today.
  • I, even I, am he who comforts you.
Who are you, that you are afraid of man who shall die,
and of the son of man who will be made as grass?
  • My flesh and my heart fails,
but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
  • If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on, you know him and have seen him.
  • Therefore you are without excuse, O man, whoever you are who judge. For in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself. For you who judge practice the same things.
  • As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don’t need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him.
  • For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I wouldn’t be a servant of Christ.
  • You husbands, in the same way, live with your wives according to knowledge, giving honor to the woman as to the weaker vessel, as also being joint heirs of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.
  • Therefore, whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets.
  • For even though the fig tree doesn’t flourish,
nor fruit be in the vines,
the labor of the olive fails,
    the fields yield no food,
the flocks are cut off from the fold,
and there is no herd in the stalls,
yet I will rejoice in Yahweh.
I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!
  • But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints.
  • He is the head of the body, the assembly, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things he might have the preeminence.
  • Don’t deprive one another, unless it is by consent for a season, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer, and may be together again, that Satan doesn’t tempt you because of your lack of self-control.
  • Not rendering evil for evil or insult for insult; but instead blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.
  • For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up.

Bible verse of the day

Watch and pray, that you don’t enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
