- The face of the Lord is turned against those who do evil,
to erase all memory of them from the earth. - Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

And may the work of our hands prosper—
indeed, may the work of our hands prosper. - Only goodness and kindness will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever and ever. - And as we gaze upon the glory of the Lord with unveiled faces, all of us are being transformed into that same image from glory to glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
- You shall take heed to observe the commandments of the Lord, your God, and the decrees and statutes that he has given to you.
- You shall not take the name of the Lord, your God, in vain, for the Lord will not consider blameless those who take his name in vain.
- The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
those who are guided by it will grow in understanding.
His praise will last forever. - For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous
and his ears are attentive to their prayer.
However, the face of the Lord
is set against those who do evil. - O Lord, grant us salvation.
O Lord, grant us success.
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
We bless you from the house of the Lord. - On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. When Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.

They are renewed every morning;
his faithfulness never ceases. - Seek the Lord,
all you humble of the land
who obey his commands.
Seek righteousness, seek humility;
then perhaps you may find shelter
on the day of the Lord’s anger. - Therefore, my beloved brethren, stand firm and immovable, devoting yourselves completely to the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
- Now let the fear of the Lord be upon you. Be careful in your judgments, for the Lord, our God, will not tolerate the perversion of justice, or partiality, or the taking of bribes.
