What can flesh do to me? - Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.
- Do all things without grumbling or disputing, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast to the word of life.
- Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
- Keep steady my steps according to your promise,
and let no iniquity get dominion over me. - Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
