So the Son of Man is lord even of the Sabbath.”

my soul also, which you have redeemed. - For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.
- Then what if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?
- On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink.”
- He was still speaking when, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him.”
- And Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” And they cast lots to divide his garments.
- I was ready to be sought by those who did not ask for me;
I was ready to be found by those who did not seek me.
I said, “Here I am, here I am,”
to a nation that was not called by my name. - I will praise you with an upright heart,
when I learn your righteous rules. - When you vow a vow to God, do not delay paying it, for he has no pleasure in fools. Pay what you vow.
- Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
- He was despised and rejected by men,
a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief;
and as one from whom men hide their faces
he was despised, and we esteemed him not. - You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
- So Jesus answered them, “My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me.”
