Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Sure'
- A wicked person earns deceptive wages,
but the one who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward. - The law of the Lord is perfect,
refreshing the soul.
The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy,
making wise the simple. - But be sure to fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you.
- Give careful thought to the paths for your feet
and be steadfast in all your ways. - Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.
- Be sure to keep the commands of the Lord your God and the stipulations and decrees he has given you.
- Lord, you are my God;
I will exalt you and praise your name,
for in perfect faithfulness
you have done wonderful things,
things planned long ago. - Surely God is my help;
the Lord is the one who sustains me. - Surely the righteous will never be shaken;
they will be remembered forever. - Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous;
you surround them with your favor as with a shield. - Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing
without revealing his plan
to his servants the prophets. - Here is a trustworthy saying:
If we died with him,
we will also live with him. - Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble, and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
- It is written: ‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord,
‘every knee will bow before me;
every tongue will acknowledge God.’ - Surely he took up our pain
and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
stricken by him, and afflicted. - Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever. - Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone,
for they will surely sprout wings
and fly off to the sky like an eagle. - Surely no one can stand in the way of their being baptized with water. They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have.
- Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
- And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.
- It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
- Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
- The vine is dried up
and the fig tree is withered;
the pomegranate, the palm and the apple tree—
all the trees of the field—are dried up.
Surely the people’s joy
is withered away. - See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.
- But if a wicked person turns away from all the sins they have committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, that person will surely live; they will not die.
You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.May the Lord our God be with us as he was with our ancestors; may he never leave us nor forsake us.
