- The wicked worketh a deceitful work:
but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward. - The law of the Lord is perfect,
converting the soul:
the testimony of the Lord is sure,
making wise the simple. - Ponder the path of thy feet,
and let all thy ways be established. - Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
- O Lord, thou art my God;
I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name;
for thou hast done wonderful things;
thy counsels of old
are faithfulness and truth. - Only fear the Lord, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.
- See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
- It is a faithful saying:
For if we be dead with him,
we shall also live with him. - But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.
- Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he hath commanded thee.
- And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
- Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
- Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
- Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
- For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
- Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
- This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
- But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
- For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.
As for God, his way is perfect:
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.Next verse!With image
