If your brother wrongs you, go and take up the matter with him when the two of you are alone. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over.If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over.
Remember your Creator in the days of your youth before the bad times come and the years draw near when you will say, “I take no pleasure in them”.Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, “I find no pleasure in them”.
Now let the fear of the Lord be upon you. Be careful in your judgments, for the Lord, our God, will not tolerate the perversion of justice, or partiality, or the taking of bribes.Now let the fear of the Lord be on you. Judge carefully, for with the Lord our God there is no injustice or partiality or bribery.
If you refuse to listen to me and do not sincerely resolve to give glory to my name, says the Lord of hosts, I will send a curse on you, and I will turn your blessings into a curse. Indeed, I have already done so because you have not heeded my warning.“If you do not listen, and if you do not resolve to honor my name,” says the Lord Almighty, “I will send a curse on you, and I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have already cursed them, because you have not resolved to honor me.”
I urge you, brethren, to watch out for those who incite dissensions and obstacles in opposition to the teaching that you have learned. Take care to avoid them.I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.
Therefore, take care to live as intelligent people, and do not be like those who are senseless. Make the most of the present time, for this is a wicked age.Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.

Dearly beloved, never seek revenge. Leave that to the time of retribution. For it is written, “Vengeance is mine, says the Lord. I will repay.”Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.
Brethren, if anyone is detected committing a transgression, you who are spiritual must set him right in a spirit of gentleness. Meanwhile, you should take care so that you yourselves are not tempted.Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.

If I ascend to the heavens, you are there; if I take my rest in the netherworld, you are also there.Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.

Give proper consideration to those widows who are truly in need.Give proper recognition to those widows who are really in need.
These are the words of the Lord of hosts: Stand at the crossroads and look around; ask for the ancient paths. When you are shown where the good way lies, walk along it and your souls will find rest. You shall not hate your brother in your heart, nor shall you rebuke your brother in any way, lest you bear sin because of him. Love one another with genuine affection. Esteem others more highly than yourself.Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.
Dear children, keep away from idols.Dear children, keep yourselves from idols.
You shall not oppress the widow or the orphan. If you mistreat them and they cry out to me for help, I will surely hear their cry, and my fury will burn and I will put you to death by the sword. Your wives will be widows and your children will be orphans.Do not take advantage of the widow or the fatherless. If you do and they cry out to me, I will certainly hear their cry. My anger will be aroused, and I will kill you with the sword; your wives will become widows and your children fatherless.
Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the company of scoffers.Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers.
To do your will, O God, is my delight; your law is in my heart.I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart.
Moreover, the one to whom God grants wealth and possessions and the ability to enjoy them and to find contentment in his toil receives a gift from God.Moreover, when God gives someone wealth and possessions, and the ability to enjoy them, to accept their lot and be happy in their toil—this is a gift of God.
Wash yourselves and become clean; remove your evil deeds far from my sight. Cease to do evil.Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong.
The Lord, your God, is in your midst, a warrior and a savior. He will rejoice over you with gladness and renew you through his love. He will exult over you with shouts of joy.The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.
The prudent man perceives danger and seeks shelter, while the simple continue forward and pay the penalty.The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty.

Therefore, we fasted and prayed to God to grant us a safe journey, and he answered our prayer.So we fasted and petitioned our God about this, and he answered our prayer.
