- In much the same manner
will wisdom be sweet to your soul.
If you find it, you will have a future,
and your hope will not be cut off. - Blessed be the God,
and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who has blessed us in Christ
with every spiritual blessing in the heavens. - Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God.
Let your gracious Spirit lead me
along a level path. - When you look at the tassels, you will remember the commandments of the Lord and keep them. Thus you will not prostitute yourselves by following after the lusts in your own heart or your own eyes.
- For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord. - He answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”
- Whatever you do, do it wholeheartedly, as if you were doing it for the Lord and not for others, since you know that you will receive from the Lord an inheritance as your reward for you are serving the Lord Christ.
- You will show me the path to life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence
and everlasting delights at your right hand. - How great is your goodness, O Lord,
which you have stored up for those who fear you
and which you bestow on those who take refuge in you,
in the presence of all the people. - Therefore, keep watch, for you do not know the day when your Lord is coming.
- Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
- For you know that the testing of your faith will develop perseverance.
- Jesus said to him, “Go on your way! Your faith has made you well.” Immediately, he received his sight and followed him along the road.
- Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares about you.
- Honor your father and your mother so that your days may be lengthened in the land that the Lord your God, will give you.
- Nevertheless, I am telling you the truth:
it is better for you that I depart.
For if I do not go away,
the Advocate will not come to you,
whereas if I go,
I will send him to you. - Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord;
O Lord, hear my voice.
Let your ears be attentive
to my cries of supplication. - In you, O Lord, I have taken refuge;
let me never be put to shame;
in your righteousness deliver me. - No one should seek his own advantage in preference to that of his neighbor.
- Never will I forget your commands,
for through them you have given me life. - I will instruct you
and guide you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you
and keep my eyes upon you. - Go forth, then. Eat your bread with joy and drink your wine with a cheerful heart, for God long ago approved what you do.
- Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. The measure that you use for others will be used to measure you.
- I have swept away your transgressions like a cloud
and your sins like a mist.
Return to me,
for I have redeemed you. - Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath in honor of the Lord your God. You shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male slave, nor your female slave, nor your animals, nor the foreigner who dwells with you. The Lord made the heavens and the earth and the seas and that which is in them in six days, but he rested the seventh day. Thus, the Lord blessed the Sabbath and declared it to be sacred.
