in the sight of everyone! - You have the fringe so that, when you see it, you will remember all the commandments of the Lord and do them, and not follow the lust of your own heart and your own eyes.
- Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God.
Let your good spirit lead me
on a level path. - For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving,
abounding in steadfast love to all who call on you. - Nevertheless I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.
- Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you; and just as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything. Only, you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.
- Do not seek your own advantage, but that of the other.
- For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
