Chinese (traditional)- The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine on you
and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you
and give you peace. - You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.
- If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.
- As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him.
- Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.
- The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.
- When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.
- As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.
- Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good?
- Repent at my rebuke!
Then I will pour out my thoughts to you,
I will make known to you my teachings. - You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.
- If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.
- Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
- When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze. - Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
- And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever.
- Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”
- Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?
- I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong— that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith.
- I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
- But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.
- Seek good, not evil,
that you may live.
Then the Lord God Almighty will be with you,
just as you say he is. - I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.
- If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.
- But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.
For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.A person’s riches may ransom their life,
but the poor cannot respond to threatening rebukes. Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”Next verse!With image
