- May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight,
Lord, my rock and my Redeemer. - That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

- For with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

- So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you are not to be afraid of him.
- For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

And a light to my path. - This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will achieve success.

And I will make you ride on the heights of the earth;
And I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father,
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken. - Therefore, ridding yourselves of all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted, which is able to save your souls.
- Make Your face shine upon Your servant;
Save me in Your faithfulness. - And the one sown with seed among the thorns, this is the one who hears the word, and the anxiety of the world and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
- One who guards his mouth protects his life;
One who opens wide his lips comes to ruin. - With his mouth the godless person destroys his neighbor,
But through knowledge the righteous will be rescued. - One who pays attention to the word will find good,
And blessed is one who trusts in the Lord. - A person has joy in an apt answer,
And how delightful is a timely word! - I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
And I wait for His word. - As for God, His way is blameless;
The word of the Lord is refined;
He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him. - How can a young man keep his way pure?
By keeping it according to Your word. - The sum of Your word is truth,
And every one of Your righteous judgments is everlasting.
