| Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. | Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. |
| So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. | So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. |
| Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” | Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. |
| They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any scorching heat. | And taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and said a blessing over them. Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples to set before the crowd. And they all ate and were satisfied. And what was left over was picked up, twelve baskets of broken pieces. | Then he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them, and brake, and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude. And they did eat, and were all filled: and there was taken up of fragments that remained to them twelve baskets. |
| But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” | But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. |
| Give to everyone who begs from you, and from one who takes away your goods do not demand them back. | Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again. |
| Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret. | And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. |
