And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing.The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.
Pride leads to conflict; those who take advice are wise.Where there is strife, there is pride, but wisdom is found in those who take advice.
God blesses those who are persecuted for doing right, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
The Lord opens the eyes of the blind. The Lord lifts up those who are weighed down. The Lord loves the godly.The Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous.
Those who listen to instruction will prosper; those who trust the Lord will be joyful.Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord.
And if you do good only to those who do good to you, why should you get credit? Even sinners do that much!And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that.
God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection.As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.
Do not withhold good from those who deserve it when it’s in your power to help them.Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act.
We are witnesses of these things and so is the Holy Spirit, who is given by God to those who obey him.We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.
The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil.For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.
Those who believed what Peter said were baptized and added to the church that day—about 3,000 in all.Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.
But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil; he will erase their memory from the earth.But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to blot out their name from the earth.

God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
My future is in your hands. Rescue me from those who hunt me down relentlessly.My times are in your hands; deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me.
Then Jesus told him, “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me.”Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
God places the lonely in families; he sets the prisoners free and gives them joy. But he makes the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.God sets the lonely in families, he leads out the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.
Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith.Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
Those who control their tongue will have a long life; opening your mouth can ruin everything.Those who guard their lips preserve their lives, but those who speak rashly will come to ruin.
The Lord says, “I was ready to respond, but no one asked for help. I was ready to be found, but no one was looking for me. I said, ‘Here I am, here I am!’ to a nation that did not call on my name.”I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me; I was found by those who did not seek me. To a nation that did not call on my name, I said, ‘Here am I, here am I.’

Jesus replied, “But even more blessed are all who hear the word of God and put it into practice.”He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”
