But the scripture has imprisoned all things under the power of sin, so that what was promised through faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe. Those who are attentive to a matter will prosper, and happy are those who trust in the Lord. Proverbs 16:20	He who heeds the word wisely will find good, And whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he. trust blessing listening
But those who want to be rich fall into temptation and are trapped by many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. 1 Timothy 6:9	But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. money greed materialism
Now, discipline always seems painful rather than pleasant at the time, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. Hebrews 12:11	Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. righteousness peace children
God gives the desolate a home to live in; he leads out the prisoners to prosperity, but the rebellious live in a parched land. Psalm 68:6	God sets the solitary in families; He brings out those who are bound into prosperity; But the rebellious dwell in a dry land. freedom obedience friendship
I urge you, brothers and sisters, to keep an eye on those who cause dissensions and offenses, in opposition to the teaching that you have learned; avoid them. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever. Psalm 111:10	The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever. awe wisdom worship
No longer present your members to sin as instruments of wickedness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and present your members to God as instruments of righteousness. So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin, but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him. Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, “If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
