- Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, have you now believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed.”
- You are my hiding place and my shield;
I wait for Your word. - But as for you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that your fasting will not be noticed by people but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.

Plans formed long ago, with perfect faithfulness. - And those who know Your name will put their trust in You,
For You, Lord, have not abandoned those who seek You. - That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
- And the one sown with seed among the thorns, this is the one who hears the word, and the anxiety of the world and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
- I will never forget Your precepts,
For by them You have revived me. - You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- I, I Myself, am He who comforts you.
Who are you that you are afraid of mortal man,
And of a son of man who is made like grass. - Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified nor dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
- But when they saw Him walking on the sea, they thought that it was a ghost, and they cried out; for they all saw Him and were terrified. But immediately He spoke with them and said to them, “Take courage; it is I, do not be afraid.”
- For You light my lamp;
The Lord my God illumines my darkness. - But You, Lord, are a shield around me,
My glory, and the One who lifts my head. - Be exalted above the heavens, God,
And may Your glory be above all the earth. - The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
