- Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
- But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved).
- But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
- We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
- Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
- For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
- What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
- And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.
- I will never forget thy precepts:
for with them thou hast quickened me. - He that hath no rule over his own spirit
is like a city that is broken down, and without walls. - But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
- Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.
- For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
- Only by pride cometh contention:
but with the well advised is wisdom. - Sing unto God, sing praises to his name:
extol him that rideth upon the heavens
by his name Jah, and rejoice before him.
A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows,
is God in his holy habitation. - And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
- Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
- I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
- Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the day time,
and in the night his song shall be with me,
and my prayer unto the God of my life. - For his anger endureth but a moment;
in his favour is life:
weeping may endure for a night,
but joy cometh in the morning. - Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
- When goods increase, they are increased that eat them: and what good is there to the owners thereof, saving the beholding of them with their eyes?
- When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed.
- It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed,
because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning:
great is thy faithfulness.
For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.Next verse!With image
