For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son. God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. Ephesians 2:8-9	For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. grace faith salvation
And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die. Galatians 2:21	I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose. grace righteousness law
He saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit. By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God’s promises to be fulfilled. Romans 15:4	For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God. 1 Peter 1:23	Since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God. rebirth Word of God
Now may the God of peace— who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, and ratified an eternal covenant with his blood— may he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever! Amen. Yes, I am the gate. Those who come in through me will be saved. They will come and go freely and will find good pastures. John 10:9	I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. Jesus salvation
For when we place our faith in Christ Jesus, there is no benefit in being circumcised or being uncircumcised. What is important is faith expressing itself in love. With their words, the godless destroy their friends, but knowledge will rescue the righteous. Proverbs 11:9	With his mouth the godless man would destroy his neighbor, but by knowledge the righteous are delivered. righteousness speaking wisdom
Just think how much more the blood of Christ will purify our consciences from sinful deeds so that we can worship the living God. For by the power of the eternal Spirit, Christ offered himself to God as a perfect sacrifice for our sins. Hebrews 9:14	How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God. Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Philippians 2:3	Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. selfishness humility neighbor
He called you to salvation when we told you the Good News; now you can share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 2:14	To this he called you through our gospel, so that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. evangelism calling
All of this occurred to fulfill the Lord’s message through his prophet: “Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel, which means ‘God is with us.’” Matthew 1:22-23	All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us). prophecy miracles Jesus

Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen. You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it. Matthew 7:13-14	Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.
